- An introduction to UK medicines regulation - Covering the regulations relating to the wholesale of medicinal products.
- Introduction to GDP – what does it mean? Covering the background and foundations of GDP, including the role and importance of the Licence Holder and Responsible Person, where they lie within the organisational structure and the reporting requirements that come with it.
- Application of the GDP guidelines – How does it apply to your role? A focus on putting GDP into the context of the positions held within the organisation, including the importance of falsified medicines awareness and vigilance.
- Interactive exercises - Working with others to embed the learning.
An entry level course designed to go above and beyond just repeating GDP awareness and your company SOPs. The focus is on engaging and educating the learner on the real reasons for having GDP in the first place.
Expected Course Outcome
The course is led by former MHRA inspectors who will be looking to share their knowledge and experiences to ensure the learner goes away with a solid understanding of the importance of key concepts and why their role matters to the integrity of the pharmaceutical supply chain. There will be an increased confidence in their role and the contribution they can make in the workplace.
